Project Overview:
Albion House, a prominent building in Chester, recently took a significant step towards sustainability by partnering with us for a 23kW solar power installation. The goal was to reduce energy costs, lower carbon emissions, and align with the growing emphasis on environmental responsibility. This project demonstrates our ability to deliver tailored renewable energy solutions that meet the specific needs of our clients.
Project Details:
- System Size: 23 kW
- Location: Albion House, Chester
- Installation Type: Roof-mounted solar PV system
- Technology: High-efficiency photovoltaic panels
Challenges:
The primary challenge for this project was optimising the available roof space on the slate roof at Albion House to accommodate the 23 kW system. Our team conducted a thorough site assessment to ensure the solar panels would be positioned for maximum sunlight exposure while working within the structural limitations of the building. Additionally, the installation had to be completed with minimal disruption to the building’s daily operations.
Solution:
We designed a custom solar power system tailored to the unique characteristics of Albion House.
By using high-efficiency photovoltaic panels, we were able to generate substantial energy output within the available space.
The installation process was carefully planned and executed, ensuring that the system was fully operational within the projected timeline. Array bird protection was also fitted to prevent nesting.

System Size | 23Kwp | PV Generation (Energy) | 21,030 Kwh/Year |
Inverters | 1 | C02 Emmission saved (Annually) | 4,070kg |
Solar Panels | 46 | Equivalent Trees Planted (Annually) | 187 |
Outcome:
The 23 kW solar installation at Albion House is now fully functional, significantly reducing the building’s reliance on traditional energy sources. The system generates clean, renewable energy, leading to lower energy bills and a reduction in carbon emissions. This installation not only supports Albion House’s commitment to sustainability but also serves as a model for other businesses in Chester looking to embrace renewable energy.
